The first appearance of this work looks like a torture device, although it’s made out of existing objects with another purpose. Not everyone would agree about the dentist chair though. Could this be evidence that the origin of human nature is evil? A texture was applied and has been removed again with a sharp tool to imitate an excoriation all over the framework. Usage causes pain and leaves its traces (even in objects we consider to be dead). If metal had a vulnerable skin like we do and it was removed, this could be how it would look like.
