Felt
Technique
All drawings are first made by hand. Then they are scanned into the computer and a laser engraves them into felt. The sides are scorched to stop the ink and other fluids from overflowing the lines. The black parts have been filled in with a fountain pen, which damages the surface and creates relief; cushions in the felt. The frame is made of lead and is then mounted on fiberboard to keep it, when hung up, an inch from the wall. The artworks are mounted in a wooden box, to make transportation easier. The box is included in the price.
