Shells are symbolic for the important aspects of life; like birth, sexuality and death. Each shell is a replica made from the same mold, cloning. Still the shells are all different. The plate reflects the light and makes the shell transparent, fluorescent, like stained glass. Depending on the environment the plates can be arranged in different ways. The last picture shows the setup in a former butcher shop, now an art gallery.
